Modern Eye Exams

Vision Specialists is locally owned and operated, with four Midwest locations in Omaha, Clocktower Village, Papillion, and Council Bluffs. We’re proud to offer simple, modern eye care for our patients in Nebraska and Iowa, and we value continually supporting our community by providing you with the best eye care in the Midwest, including unique, modern comprehensive eye exams.

Who likes getting their eyes dilated? And why do we have to answer the same "which is better, 1 or 2" question over and over again? The world has changed, and with it, so has eye care. Vision Specialists uses the most advanced medical technology to reduce or eliminate the parts of the eye exam we all dreaded in the past.

You deserve the best eye care in the Midwest! Schedule your appointment at one of our four locations today.

Vision Specialists Advanced Testing

Modern Eye Care.
Digital Testing

Before you even see your eye doctor, you will experience three quick, high-definition scans of your prescription and ocular health. This allows your exam to be complete and efficient.

Glasses Prescription Scan:

Through high-definition scans, your glasses prescription is more detailed than ever before with little-to-no "which is better, 1 or 2" questioning.

No Puff Eye Pressure:

There is no more need for the scary puff of air directly into your eyes. With the iCare® Tonometer, we can determine your risk for glaucoma with no puff of air.

Retinal Scan:

With scanning laser technology, we can scan and capture 82% of your retina in one image, eliminating the need for most patients to have their eyes dilated.

Simple & Precise.
The Eye Exam

At Vision Specialists, we believe that we provide the best eye exams in the world!  Through advanced technology, your eye exam can be more comprehensive and more efficient than ever before.  The best part of any eye exam should be the end when your eye doctor carefully educates you and clearly lays out the next steps.

At Vision Specialists, we take this one step further, with the Vision Experience Summary for each patient.

Your Exam Summary

We want you to leave our office knowing your eyes inside and out, empowered with a complete understanding of your eyes.  Therefore, every patient at Vision Specialists leaves with a concise one-page summary of the doctor's findings and next steps.
