Vision Specialists Advanced Testing

Simple & Easy.
Start With Simple Tests

Before your child sees your Vision Specialists eye doctor, they experience 3 quick high definition scans for their prescription and ocular health. This allows their exam to be complete and efficient.

Glasses Prescription Scan:  Through high definition scans, your glasses prescription is more detailed than ever before with little to no "which is better, 1 or 2" questioning.

No Puff Eye Pressure:  No more scary puff of air directly into your eyes. With the iCare® Tonometer, we can determine your risk for glaucoma with no puff of air.

Retinal Scan:  With scanning laser technology, we scan and capture 82% of your retina in one image, eliminating the need for most patients to be dilated.

Your Child's Vision Health.
Highly Trained Doctors

At Vision Specialists, we believe that we provide the best eye exams in the world!  Through advanced technology, your child's eye exam can be more comprehensive and more efficient than ever before.

A child’s life is full of developmental milestones, and vision plays a major role in nearly all of them. The key is making sure your child’s vision is healthy, which can be difficult when your child doesn’t know how to articulate what they’re experiencing. That’s why check-ins with skilled eye care professionals are so important — we can keep track of eye health, alignment, and development through these crucial formative years. The American Optometric Association recommends that children undergo complete eye exams at the following ages:

  • Between 6 months and 1 year of age
  • At 3 years of age
  • Every other year during school

It’s important to understand that school screenings cannot replace eye exams, as they are not as extensive as the real thing.

Confidence In Your Child's Vision Care

The best part of any eye exam should be the end, when your Vision Specialists eye doctor carefully educates you and clearly lays out next steps for your child.

Your Exam Summary - We want you to leave our office empowered with a complete understanding of your child's eyes.  Every patient at Vision Specialists leaves with a concise one-page summary of the doctor's findings and next steps.

Frames & Contact Lenses - One size does not fit all. We understand that each child is unique and pride ourselves with personalizing next steps for each child.  After their eye exam, the doctor will work with our vision care team to determine next steps for your child's glasses, contact lenses, and ocular health management.
